Why did my reel fail to publish?
The common reasons a scheduled publish fails — and how to fix each one.
A failed publish almost always traces back to the platform connection or the post itself.
- Expired connection — re-authorize the account in Settings → Connections.
- Account type — Instagram auto-publishing needs a Business/Creator account.
- Media constraints — check the platform’s length, aspect-ratio, or size limits.
- Rate limits — the platform may have temporarily throttled posting.
Open the failed post in the scheduler to see the exact platform error and retry.
